Eng. Derrick Ogonji is a Registered Professional Engineer adept at leveraging Infrastructure, Transportation, Traffic, and Road Safety Engineering expertise. Before joining ITDP, he worked as a Lead Transportation Engineer in the consulting industry, involved in various projects and collaborating with different governments, road authorities, donors, and financiers across the region. He has extensive experience in Transport Sector Policy and Strategy Formulation, Project Management, Design, Transportation Planning, Technical Audits, Contract Administration, Traffic Engineering, Road Safety Engineering, and Construction Supervision. He also demonstrates working within versatile, high-pressure environments to deliver complex projects. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology and is a Quality Management Systems Lead Audit Graduate from the Kenya Bureau of Standards National Quality Institute.
