Senior Associate, Transport Systems

Reem Elhakeem holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the American University of Sharjah, UAE. She worked previously with Externa in Cairo as a Procurement Engineer. One of her primary responsibilities entailed communications with different entities in and outside Egypt. Before that, she was a Highways Engineer at AECOM Dubai (UAE). That position included a lot of exposure to the design and development of the Dubai/ UAE road network, which is one of the most progressing systems in the Middle East. She aided in the design of one of the biggest projects, such as the highway network of EXPO 2020, Al Khail Road improvements and the Meydan Cycling track design. Reem’s passion is improving the Roads Network to reach the highest levels of safety possible to accommodate residents.
